Finding our top 5 was tricky – there are a number of great country wedding venues across the Southern counties, in order to ensure the best mix we’ve varied the capacity and locations in and around the London area.
The Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey
A beautiful lake overlooking the spectacular Woburn Abbey.
Woburn Abbey is a venue marked with historical significance, it’s been home to the Dukes of Bedford for over 300 years and is currently home to the 15th Duke and his family.
The Sculpture Gallery is set in the 3,000 acre deer park surrounding the Abbey. It was originally constructed in 1789 as an orangery but soon converted to host some of the most spectacular sculptures.
The Galleries grand interior offers a wonderful ambience of calm and tranquility. The room offers the perfect back drop for Asian weddings. The stage and dancefloor can be located within the centre of the room and a mandap setup can easily be accommodated. It doesn’t end here, the Sculpture Gardens are contained with their own private gardens overlooking the Camellia House Lake.

Oatlands Park Hotel
The historic Oatlands Park Hotel.
The Oatlands Park Hotel is a beautifully located Surrey hotel. If you’re looking for a venue filled with character then this is the one for you, the Oatlands Park Hotel is one of the very few venues where monarchs once lived – those monarchs included Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, James I and Charles I.
This Asian wedding venue is ideal if you are looking for a balance between a modern and historical space. The event space itself offers a contemporary vibe however the main hotel and the surrounding areas are filled with rich history.
The Oatlands can easily accommodate upto 300 guests for an Asian wedding which is great for a mid sized event. Unlike some of our other venues Blenheim is no longer a full day venue, it can only be hired for evening functions, however this doesn’t put our couples off – there’s always a way to enjoy this beautiful space. Either coming after the temple ceremony is one option, or alternatively couples can host their religious ceremony on one day and their reception on another.
